The black currants for this spirit come from Franconia. Here, these fruits are mainly made into a tasty, deep-dark jam. The distillation of this berry, on the other hand, is relatively new, because it is necessary to process many kilos from the harvest to also give expression to the currant in the brandy. The nose smells the typical fruity bitter and sour cassis aroma, paired with mint and meadow herbs. In the mouth, this spirit is very deep and rich, but at the same time soft.
With 35% alcohol volume, this spirit seduces so make people and lets the mind wander to a last walk in the woods in the summer where berry fruit was plowed.
