Various types of agave spirits are grouped together under the generic term “mezcal” (engl. “schnapps”). Among them, tequila is a very special agave spirit. It is made exclusively from the “Agave tequilana”, the Blue Weber Agave. The agave hearts are cooked for hours, cooled, then crushed or crushed to extract all the juice. In the fermentation process, the sugar of the agave juice is transformed into alcohol and the distillation processes begin. The finished tequila differs according to the type of storage and the duration of its aging.
