The hazelnuts for this spirit come mainly from Turkey. Depending on the year and harvest, 10 to 15 percent come from Bavaria. The fully ripe highly aromatic nuts are first roasted, then preserved in alcohol and subsequently distilled. The nose smells, in addition to freshly grated hazelnut, chocolate, some black cherry and Nutella. In the mouth, light toasted notes predominate.
