The Zervaki family has been producing olive oil in the small village of Zakros in eastern Crete since about 1890. The village has always been a special place for olive growing due to its very good geographical position and its ideal organic climate. Even the ancient Minoans built a palace and cultivated olive trees in Zakros 4000 years ago.
