Barbecue Time. Out with the barbecue tongs
Sun-ripened tomatoes, a handful of fragrant herbs, fresh garlic – this screams Italy. And then cranberries hop on stage and crash the party. The berry is an unexpected guest in Mustard Pauli’s Mediterranean-inspired barbecue mustard, but complements its flavor exceptionally well, contributing a pleasant acidity. Classically, the cranberry, which incidentally belongs to the genus of blueberries, is known mainly as a jam with game dishes or cutlets. The Hamburg manufacture shows us that it also cuts a fine figure as a supporting actress and can subtly expand the taste palette. The other ingredients are a perfect combination anyway, which has been tried and tested a million times and needs no further explanation. In short: fire up the grill, try it out!
The mustard also convinces in salad dressings, as a spread and on the cheese platter.

“Senf Pauli” make their mustard according to ancient tradition. The mustard seed is cold ground, which completely preserves the essential oils of the seed, which is beneficial to both the taste and nutritional value of the product. In addition, the oil contained in the grains is not extracted by pressing during processing, which keeps the mustard as natural as possible. The manufactory relies primarily on ingredients that come from the region around Hamburg or from Germany in general, in order to keep transport distances short.
