Oxymel is a time-honored recipe of raw acacia honey, naturally cloudy Demeter apple cider vinegar and a selection of valuable wild herbs. The tincture is stirred in a gentle process for weeks, never heated. In this way, all valuable ingredients are preserved. For the real taste of the local nature.
This oxymel contains bitter herbs wormwood, centaury and horehound. Peppermint rounds off the taste of the composition.
Natural cloudy apple cider vinegar is a millennia-old fermented home remedy. We use it in its most natural, unpasteurized form.
Raw honey, obtained from beekeeping in accordance with the nature in Brandenburg. It still contains all its valuable substances and preserves the wild herbs in a natural way.
Wormwood is one of the most important bitter herbs and has been used since ancient times.

Horehound is one of the oldest medicinal plants known to us and was named medicinal plant of the year 2018.

Application: Very simple: Mix one tablespoon of Oxymel with a glass of water. Stir and ready! Whether you prefer to take bubbly or still is entirely up to you. However, do not heat your Oxymel above 45 degrees or important nutrients will be destroyed.
Our holistic impulse: we also enjoy the Bitter variety as a non-alcoholic aperitif. Black currant juice with a dash of bitters becomes a healthy and delicious after dinner nightcap. We say cheers then!

The sugar content is purely natural origin due to the high quality honey. Per serving, a glass of water with 1 tablespoon of Oxymel contains only 4.6g of sugar. Much less than a glass of apple spritzer, for example.
